Annapolis- Always Enjoyable

West Point from the water

Typical Annapolis home
We hemmed and we hawed whether to go to Annapolis as we've been there a couple of time to attend the Boat Shows and finally realized it's difficult  to visit the Chesapeake and not go there.  We decided to skip the mooring ball anchorage in Annapolis Harbor and instead try to anchor in Spa Creek which is right next to the harbor. With the suggestion of the harbor master, we found a great spot to spend the night.  We loaded Buddy in the dinghy and made our way to the dinghy dock and found Carol and Mitch, Loopers we have met in Michigan and Florida.  After lunch with them, we did the typical walking tour bu t we skipped the Naval Academy-hopefully next time.  This is a charming town geared for the sailing crowd.  It's always a great place to people watch...especially the cute (and very young!)  cadets.
Lots of mooring balls in Annapolis Harbor
